Singapore, July 19, 2011 – Logicalis Group, the international IT and Communications solutions integrator, has announced it is establishing a joint venture operation in Indonesia. Heads of terms have been agreed with leading Indonesian ICT Group, P.T. Metrodata Electronics, Tbk based in Jakarta.
The joint venture operation will focus on network communications, collaboration and data centre solutions to the commercial, enterprise and service provider markets in Indonesia. Logicalis will own 51% shares and Metrodata 49%.
This announcement sees Logicalis further building on its investment in the high growth Asia-Pacific region following its acquisition of Netstar in 2010. Logicalis and Metrodata expect the business to be operational in Q4 2011.
